AOC and Warren lay it out. Definitely a LOL for me.
I don’t read much sci-fi written by men (including GoT!) for just this reason! It’s always massive battles and manliness and women whose characters just are never as good as what a woman would write.
I have mostly missed the zeitgeist moment that was Game if Thrones (the first episode totally turned me off). Missed seeing some of the good moments (Dame Diana Rigg!), and missed Jonathan Van Ness’s Gay of Thrones but otherwise, no thanks, not interested.
